Pocket Lawn Bowls
A product of joint efforts by Teramips Technologies and Swivel Creations - Pocket Lawn Bowls - is the first Lawn Bowls game ever created! This game brings
you closer to the action than ever before by recreating the excitement and
skill of the real game on your Pocket PC.
Once considered a quintessentially English sport, Lawn Bowls is now played
by all age groups worldwide in high profile Championship matches.
Based on the original sport and rules, the objective is to get your bowl as
close to the Jack as possible to win more points. There are two key controls
in the game, Angle and Power. First adjust your Angle to play a Forehand or
Backhand shot, then tap, hold down & move the Power up to your required
speed.
You start by rolling the Jack up the green to your required length, then you
roll your first bowl. You have 4 bowls in each round to use to your beat
ability to out wit your opponent. Use Power shots, Block shots and try
whatever you can to take more points from your opponent. The game continues
until a player reaches 21 points and they are crowned the winner!

on Nov 22, 2002 - This game is fantastic! I totally loved it. At first I wasn't sure as Bowls can be regarded as a long game, but PLB is totally addictive, extremely playable and looks great. I really enjoyed the demo and its certainly worth $15 of anyones money :)
