Believe us, once you try this out you'll be hooked! PhoenixStudio is a software synthesizer and sequencer, using the full potential of the PocketPC. The interface is fast, snappy, and dare I say pretty good-looking, and the sound... well, download the trial version and hear for yourself!
PhoenixStudio features three dual oscillator monosynths, and one drum machine with custom drum sample support. The integrated mixer also includes some effect units: distorsion, delay with feedback and reverb. The program outputs 44kHz 16-bit stereo sound, commonly known as "CD Quality". Headphones or external speakers are strongly recommended!
Please download the trial first to make sure your PocketPC is powerful enough (any 2 years old or newer PocketPC should be fine in theory). If the trial works properly as it does on 98% of all PocketPCs, the full version will run just fine!

on Nov 28, 2005 - After downloading the demo''s of a few other PPC music programs, the choice for me was easy. PhoenixStudio is like have Reason on your PPC. Very user friendly, and it works flawlessly. Most definately worth the $ for a mobile studio. I''m looking forward to future updates :-)

on Jan 9, 2005 - This is by far, the most professional piece of music composing software on a PDA. The layout/effects/synths/mixer are incredible. So easy to use and yet so powerful. This has entered my "must have" category and i eagerly await new versions. The flexibility of adding in your own drum samples is a bonus. Its like a mini FLStudio. Perfect for writing that riff/drum loop - or going the full length and recording a complete track. The bonus is using the software to convert the files over to desktop. Now, i write tracks anywhere and simply export them when i get home! Just brilliant...

on Nov 13, 2003 - I had been thinking about writing my own pocket studio software until I found PhoenixStudio. Simply put, it is awesome. I bought it after using it for about 2 nights straight roughly 6 hours total... and it is COMPLETELY worth it. I think it is worth 100+ dollars at minimum, but I'm glad I bought it before the price could be raised on me ;) I highly recommend this to anyone into electronic music composition because even though you may not write an entire song with the software itself, it is an extremely valuable instrument to have 3 analogue synths with pattern capabilities, reverb, delay all for only 25 bucks. Amazing value, amazing software. I can't wait to see how far it goes in the future... actually, I'm surprised more people don't know about it. It is light-years ahead of PocketJam, and it is such a great package in itself.. and the user interface is fantastic. Griff is the only product out there that can think of competing with PhoenixStudio, and I don't even think they have a chance with the potential PhoenixStudio has. Great job, Henrik!
