Exchange ActiveSync
for today's most popular smartphones

Need a way to stay connected while away from the office?
Use RoadSync to get direct, secure and wireless access to your corporate Outlook e-mail with attachments and data no matter where the day takes you.
Now, you can truly mobilize your work life.

RoadSync now supports select
mobility features of Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2
  • Direct Push technology allows users to receive new e-mail messages, calendar, and contact information in real time.
  • Remote Wipe command allows IT administrators to wipe sensitive Exchange data from the device over the Web, in case a device gets lost or stolen.
  • Global Address List (GAL) provides ability to look up and address new e-mail messages to corporate contacts by accessing GAL right from the smartphone.
  • Additional Data Compression provides faster experience when sending and receiving messages, less data usage and reduced sync times.

PUSH Your E-Mail - WITHOUT middleware

With RoadSync, businesses can leverage their current investment in Exchange 2003 without the need to purchase additional servers to provide Direct Push e-mail to their employees' phones.

Calendar & Contacts - populates existing built-in calendar & contacts

Advantages for Companies & IT Administrators

Lowest Total Cost of Ownership on the Market
No need for a middleware server, a desktop redirector or
typical set up and service fees commonly associated with today's
alternatives.

Support for Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 SP2
Features such as Direct Push, Remote Wipe and Global Address List require
Microsoft's recently released Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2). Enterprises already running SP2 can take advantage of these new mobility enhancements when using Symbian-based handsets.

Simple Installation & Deployment
With over-the-air distribution, end-users and IT departments can install
RoadSync without any desktop interaction by entering just a few settings on the mobile handset.

Secure Transmission of Sensitive Data
RoadSync supports industry-standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connections
over port 443, the same level of encryption trusted for online banking. In
addition, the Remote Wipe feature allows IT managers to clear all Exchange
data from the mobile handset in the event it is lost or stolen.

Works with Today's Most Popular Mobile Devices
With support for today's most popular devices and mobile operating systems,
IT departments have a choice when it comes to hardware as well as the
flexibility to mobilize employees who may already own a personal device.

System Requirements

1. Microsoft Exchange Server 2003
(Service Pack 2 is required for Push and Remote Wipe features)
2. Supported Smartphone or Wireless Handset
3. Data Plan through Mobile Carrier

Poor integration with UIQ2 SE P910 Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I use DataViz RoadSync because it is the ONLY Direct Push option for SonyEricsson P910. DataViz has done a very poor job at implementing on the P910. 1-Its message store is not visible in the Account List when the flip is closed (so NO ONE HAND OPERATION) 2-Sounds do not conform with other Mail Accounts (it uses Other Sound *Smart*) 3-It will not allow the phone to vibrate on incoming mail - in fact it will disable vibrate on your other mail accounts too. 4-it is resource hug. The phone is quite often hung for 10-15 sec (can't do anything) while it does its internal things. Not too handy when you want to make a call -- you have to wait. And it happens 5-10 times per day. NOT IMPRESSED at all And their support shows carelessness

Careful - once you download the trail you will HAVE to buy it: it is addictive. It should ship with the Ericsson if they really want to compete with Blackberry.
