Awful

on Jul 23, 2007 - The program can't bid even remotely sanely (forcing bids are routinely passed), can't play worth a darn (in auto play mode, ruffed a good diamond in order to lead a losing heart), and doesn't support doubling. Not even suitable for beginners, in my opinion.

Good program that could use a few upgrades

on Jun 28, 2004 - Good game with very conservative bidding. As previously recommended selectable alternative bidding systems would be desirable. Also finesses seem to fail more often than statistics would predict. Improvements I would like to see. 1. Be able to access score during bidding. 2. Be able to see last trick 3. Selectable alternative bidding system 4. be able to undo last round after all 4 cards played

Odd bidding system and scoring bugs

on Nov 15, 2002 - As with previous reviewers, I find the bidding system incomprehensible. Computer opponents will not bid slams/grand slams, nor will they double. This is probably for the best as doubled contracts that are set do not earn double penalties. Computer opponent card play is hard to understand. Very often it will lead a king when the ace and queen are visible in dummy and the king is not singleton. It also lacks a 'go-back' button even though the controls of all Palm OS games often lead to erroneous clicks.
