Teams of ants from different colonies, each with their own colours and flag, battle over a variety of different terrains. They never take prisonners!
Each team has access to a variety of weapons including mines, grenades, guns, flame throwers and homing missiles. Each weapon has its own strengths and weaknesses. Teams controlled by your phone can have their ability tweaked to improve as you do and can be fought in single battles or entire campaigns for world supremecy.
Soldier Ants are clearly the most deadly and well equipped creatures in the insect world!
Soldier Ants features:
Game modes: Single battle and Campaign modes with 2 to 4 teams.
Excellent graphical effects including vector graphic explosions and smoke effects.
Particle effects which react to the enviroment.
Maps include: Jungle maps, ruins, fruit and beach levels.
Weapons include : Homing missiles, cluster bombs, grenades, sniper rifle, mines, petrol bombs, RPG, machine gun, mole, bows and arrows, snowballs, revolver, the Atomic Carrot, the Inflatable Aardvark and the Mango of Doom!
Music by professional muscians.
Excellent artwork and sound effects.
Full ingame save.

on Feb 11, 2005 - I had this game on my P900 and absolutely loved it. The campaign mode is superb with the prospects of having 4 teams all contesting the same map! As soon as I got my Ipaq 4700 I downloaded Snails because I wanted a game like Ants and was disapointed, as it just wasn't as much fun. Now this has been released for Pocket Pc I'm thrilled. Trust me, if you have ever played snails, and I'm guessing a lot of you have, then you will love this! The campaign mode adds a whole new dimension and you'll have hours of fun taking a territory, only to have to defend it moments later when a whole host of ants invade! BUY THIS GAME!

on Feb 11, 2005 - One of the best games I have ever played on my PocketPC, and that says a lot. A lot of great imagination is put into this game. Great visuals and sound effects, with ease of use. Many cool weapons to use, and cool environments to take your challenges to. It's set up for multiple player teams. This game may look familiar, but it's not. It has a uniqueness that is all it's own. The full version is, without a doubt, worth every penny and then some. And has some excellent surprises. I highly recommend it. This is an A+++ game. Kudos!! for Tom Cooper
