on Jul 19, 2008 - This review is from a boomer with bifocals so please, keep that in mind. While agendus is wonderful for the big screen it falls flat into oblivion on the tiny screen. Functionality is impressive but it's too too much for such a little display and remain easily readable. Navagation is not intuitive which leads to frustration and slows down data entry. Trying to enter a future court date on the fly was the clerk reads it off was just impossible. Don't buy this unless you have good eyes and the patience to figure out and really practice using the various screens.

on Mar 30, 2008 - I have been using Agendus for years on both the Palm and Windows PDA?s so I assumed that the program would function as intuitively as is did on the previous platforms, not so. It is very slow to initially start up. It is very hard to navigate through using the cursor keys of the Smartphone, you think the cursor should go in one direction but it goes somewhere else. The on screen prompts are so similar in color from non-selected items that you can?t tell at a glance where the cursor, or selected object is. The online functions of the program just don?t work well from excess update time to taking up too much space on the Today screen. The mapping function doesn?t work at all, it takes you to the web but the map is never displayed. The search function in the contact list doesn?t always find the correct names as it overwrites itself leaving only the last letter entered. The Alphabetical quick bar displays the correct data on the screen until you move your cursor down and the program takes you back to the last record you were on regardless what the screen showed. You can?t view all of contacts information unless you are editing the record with many tabs to go through before finding the correct field that you are looking for. After a few days of using the program I have found many usability issues that keep me from starting the program at all when looking up contacts or dates. I have addressed these issues with the vendor in great detail and am waiting for a response or a solution. It has been a good program, just not on this platform. Test it out fully before deciding to purchase this program. It is hard to believe that they call this version 2.2 when it clearly has many, many usability issues; does anyone at Iambic actually use this (Smartphone) version of their program?
