on Dec 16, 2005 - This is definatly one of the best games on the pocket pc. The port is very true to the original. The cons. I did have trouble with the game crashing on my windows 2003 pda after the city started taking up about a third of the map, or if I ever tried to do one of the high graphic disasters. But otherwise it was a lot of fun. The company that did the port though seems to have vanished into thin air like I have noticed has happened to a lot of the older companies for the pda.

on Jun 25, 2004 - Of all the SimCity games, SimCity 2000 was my favorite. It's great to be able to play it again (the PC doesn't work on my newer hardware), but now I can play wherever I want, whenever I want. The interface has been adjusted to work on the small screen and works better than you would expect. The graphics are crisp and clean, unless of course you zoom all the way in. I encountered a problem with the sound, though, where the music would chop up when the game was playing. I turned off the music though, for the said reason but mostly because it chews through the battery so quickly. I've found that my battery holds up much better with the music off. Some may find the price tag a little steep, but, in the end, I think it is well worth it.
