    NEW V3.0 is the first today screen plugin that allows you to monitor your wireless connection if you are using a 802.11b compatible network card!

    Features added to PocketPanel are:

  • A small icon is added to the title bar that instantly shows you if you're connected to your network or not. This icon can be turned off if not needed.
  • Flashing radio waves either side of the icon tell you when your device is receiving and transmitting network data.
  • Message bubbles can be configured to appear when to loose, or regain your network connection.
  • Tapping on the network icon in the title bar will give you the latest network connection information including adapter name, IP address, DHCP information and WINS information.

    • *Recently Added!!* iPAQPanel/PocketPanel was the first today screen plugin that tells you the current state of your batteries, even if you're busy running another application and cannot see the Today Screen! Current voice packs include a male or female voice with an American accent.

    *Recently Added!!* iPAQPanel/PocketPanel was the first today screen plugin to provide the ability to recover storage space on your device! It automatically scans your storage ( including any CF cards attached ) and will remove temporary data that is not needed by your device. This data builds up over time as you run different applications and will slow you down. PocketPanel has a new animated icon that shows how much storage has been recovered from your device. Removing this temporary data will also speed up your device!

    PocketPanel features include:

  • Only takes 20 seconds to download ( based on 56k modem ). PocketPanel does not take up much storage or memory on your device. Other system monitors take much longer to download and use much more memory and storage space.
  • Display of main battery level or charging status.
  • Battery level is displayed accurately as a percentage available or running time since last charge ( unlike other system monitors that try to predict how much battery 'will be' available ).
  • Display of memory available.
  • Display of internal storage available.
  • Display of any CompactFlash storage available.
  • 1 tap shortcuts to system settings by tapping on the icons.
  • Storage icon automatically or manually switches between attached cards.
  • User can select icons to display for attached storage cards.
  • 1 tap shortcut to Today Screen settings page for easy access to options
  • "Uninstall" feature added to automate removing trial or full version plugin.
  • Can be installed anywhere on your device.
  • After purchasing the full version ( V1.4 or higher ), you can get further updates by just downloading the trial version from this website. Installing PocketPanel will recognize that you are a registered user and will automatically install the full version

    Such a great utility, free from amatuerish bugginess and crashes. Easy to use, but nonetheless very helpful in regards to managing your Pocket PC. Works great on my Toshiba E740.

    I am still in the trial version - but plan on purchasing this. It is great.... not too big and gives you just what you need. I tried another one but it was too big and added icons for everything in my pocket pc. The only thing I wish it added was a power off icon.

    Just added, but what a beautiful, comprehensive and yet deceptively simple product. And I love the fact that it is animated, configurable (its position in the Today screen) and "cleans house" by periodic scans for temp files that bog the system. Boy, I'm glad I "stumbled" on the best!!!
