SmallMenu is Pocket PC software which integrates task manager and cascading program launcher. You can execute, switch, and close programs by SmallMenu.
Executing SmallMenu will bring up an integrated menu which contains a task list with icons and cascading program menus.
Remarkable features of this software include:

When assigning SmallMenu to a hardware button, for example, to record button, you can push the button to pop up SmallMenu and choose the desired program/task by rocking up/down the action control.
Note: SmallMenu shares its executable with SmallMenuPlus which is a shareware. Thus trial message appears in its execution time. To stop the trial message, that is, to use the executable as SmallMenu, please tap SmallMenu > Settings... from the main menu of SmallMenu to pop up settings dialog, then tap About > Register.... You can see a registration dialog. Please choose SmallMenu in the dialog then tap "OK" button.

on Oct 26, 2003 - When I turned on my first Pocket PC, I was dismayed to find that the familiar cascading menus of the Windows operating system were not present. Instead, the interface reminded me more of the now obsolete Windows 3.1! I thought technology had moved beyond that. In searching for an affordable and useful tool where I could more readily access my applications, I found SmallMenu by Tillanosoft. This little gizmo gives the Pocket PC interface just what it needs! Cascading menus, a built in Task Manager, a battery meter, the ability to access the most recently used applications quickly (like Windows XP) and more! Although SmallMenu is freeware, I highly recommend you invest the few dollars it costs to license SmallMenu Plus! I guarantee that it will be the most-used application on your Pocket PC!

on Apr 7, 2003 - The heirarchical menu alone is worth the price of admission, but don't forget that it allows you to change the Start menu graphic too! No more little Windows logo! :D
