CrozzWord access puzzles in several formats: Across Lite, Crossword Compiler, Crossword Creator, CrossWord Express, Crossword Wizard, Universal; includes samples, and reads puzzles from local files or
categories of remote sites; gets next puzzle in file list or date sequence; saves games; selectively checks or reveals answer; skips to incomplete/incorrect guesses;
view cross-referenced clues; customizes size, font and color preferences; includes online help
After providing your Zaurus user name during registration, you will receive a reg code by email to enable additional features such as
live updates of puzzle categories and sites, direct access to your New York Times subscription,
save entire site for later offline use, and access to .zip puzzle archives.
After playing sample puzles,
if you do not have an internet connection available on your Zaurus, you should download
some puzzles, sync to Internal memory or CF or SD card; then open these
via Local Directory in CrozzWord. Here are several individual puzzle file links:
CrosSynergy Syndicate(Houston Chronicle),
New York Times ("classic").

on May 21, 2002 - Exactly what I was looking for but still needs some work (v 1.0), most crucially: 1. The ability to fit a 15x15 puzzle entirely on screen (perhaps just one more font option) 2. The ability to add puzzle feeds (esp. now that the NYT has ditched QPass) If it weren't for the 1st problem, I'd be using this program in every idle moment.
