The GridBloc Game is an addictive, networked multi-player, turn-based, strategy game with a patent and a patent-pending, rich characters, implemented with community and skill ratings, and language-independent game-play for global use.

IMPORTANT INFO: JOINING A GAME:
All GridBloc Games are between real people, anywhere in the world.

When you click "Play Now" a public game is created which is joined by the next player to also click "Play Now." So when you join a game, the creator of the game will receive a message, so you do not have to be logged-in to be in game(s).

As a turn-based game, you will be sent an email or SMS link when it is your turn, or when someone has joined your game, if you have provided a *valid* email or SMS contact address.

HOW TO PLAY:
Win by earning running further before being blocked, and remember: the destination is not as important as the length of the journey. Players swap Runner/Blocker roles between Round 1 and Round 2.

Runner:
Moves 1 tile per turn (gains 1 point if a new tile, can backtrack but earns no points) any direction including diagonal, but cannot move through walls.
TIP: do not run for the corners.

Blocker:
Places 1 wall per turn.
TIP: do not block too close too early.
