XScaleCtrl is a Control Panel applet that allows you to adjust the speed of the XScale Processor from 100MHz up to 500MHz.

The control panel application allows you to also turn on re-applying the speed setting on power on and when a soft reset has been done without an application running in the background using up valuable resources.

XScaleCtrl is small at around 30 Kbytes in size.

If you have a Dell Axim there is version here just for your device.

There is now an Advanced Version for those who like to try out settings or those with devices such as the ASUS A600 that can run at 442MHz (L=40,M=2,N=1.5), 500MHz (L=27,M=2,N=2.5) and 531MHz (L=36,M=2,N=2) that can be found here.

The trial version will be fully functional for 5 days and will nag the user every time the settings are applied. The full version does not have any time limits and does not display any messages when applying the settings.

The XScaleCtrl is only compatible with Intel XScale Processors.

Best Bang for the Buck!!!!!

This application does the same job as some other available at 1/3 of their advertised price. Program is user friendly & non-intimidating. I contacted their support dept for a small issue and reply within an hour! What a great product at a great price with an excellent support service. What more can I ask for. Very happy with the product. Thanks

Makes good things better...

Improves overall speed and performance. Apps open quicker and video improves greatly esp. with the overclocking of the memory (117 mhz).

This is a great app! It works as advertised and it is very stable. It does not try to do everything like other apps. It does one important thing very well. Worth the money!
