on May 28, 2007 - What can I say?! This is the best viewer for MS office and PDF documents on small displays like most of smartphones have. Search function is fast and it is "god gift" for long documents (I have few documents with 800-900 pages). Highly recommended for business users!!

on Jan 12, 2005 - VERY satisfied with RepliGo! I am very often reading pdf, html, msword technical documents from web about software development technologies and until now, I have often printed all this as "4 page up" on A4 paper to save time & space. Even at this scenario I still was carying very heavy bag of documents and never I have all needed in every moment. With RepliGo (and my new Motorola MPx200 with SD card) it is beautifull to have huge docs library in hand. Reading and viewing with RepliGo is even better then with "4uped" pages as I can search for words and I am still able to preview documents visually by page layouts, images... Simply, THIS is the killer app for my smartphone. I am realized, that I am never printing to physical printer ... all my actions in pdf/html/word and all other apps is preview/convert or print to RepliGo, directly to device with saved backup on desktop (even desktop RepliGO viewer is far better that storing original web files pages as until now ... it is lightning fast even on my slightly "invalid" notebook and now all my docs are unified for single reader, even stored html pages are in single file and preview/convert is far better than physical printing experience - sometimes with very easy and convenient selecting area only). Some web explorers can store web pages as single file archive, but in RepliGo, you have optimized this file for fast viewing in portable device (to be fair, images lose some precision, but even screenshots and drawings are quite good). [With other apps you] often cannot preview/print some page layouts without unusable cutting texts, which can be effectively workarounded by RepliGo through selected-only conversion. With desktop and portable repligo viewers you can add/edit your bookmarks and comments to document pages and you can mark text selections with colors (on smartphone I dont know how, may be disabled here?). You can switch device to view whole page previews, text only flow layout (most usable for reading), zoom by bitmap scalling or font scalling (by current view mode) and to see fullscreen/rotated content for all three possible orientations (control buttons are appropriatelly switched too), so you cannot damage your hands by RSI. If you even need to print document to paper, you can do this from device too through IRDA at least to IrDA powered PCL compatible printers (HP, others?), to be fair, this can be quite slow ... but possible! If you want to search through text in .rgo documents, you have possibility to store plain text version along with it manually (select all text and copy/paste it in .txt file) - by this you can then find occurences of text in .rgo files globally on desktop or even on device... If you want to easily encrypt/decrypt .rgo files, then I can recommend Resco win-shell extension and and its on-device support. My wishes: 1) SDK to allow processing of .rgo files from our apps 2) RegEx powered search engine for .rgo files (or noted SDK :-) 3) Will be good to do on-the-fly opening of resco-encrypted files for read only access at least for better security context within RepliGo. I am not in any way linked to cerience company and all I wrote is my own opinion here. Thank you RepliGo ppl, have a nice code!
