Can't beat the price

on Jun 3, 2007 - Needed a softphone for my account at http://www.freeworlddialup.com/ Saw the price on this and downloaded. Setup was a little clunky as interface doesn't support landscape mode. Also if you mess up the initial settings (easy to do) you have to close the application and reopen it to get the setup screen again. Once I got logged in, I was able to make phone calls on my Cingular 8525 with 3G unlimited internet access. This opens up a world of opportunities to have unlimited anytime minutes to communicate with coworkers through VOIP. I noticed this application doesn't have integrated contact support and doesn't seem to even have the ability to create a contact list. I'm going to keep looking but at least I have something that does work in the meantime.

on Apr 17, 2003 - I have been using X-Lite since the early days of the beta program. This is one great SIP app!. The quality is great, and the platform it rides on is unbeatable for a SIP application. I haghly reccommend anyone interested in VOIP give it a try. This is a great way to keep in touch across the globe for free!
