on Mar 6, 2009 - I spent hours searching the web trying to find a way to remove phantom program icons left by uninstalling gotomypc and live search. Reinstalling and uninstalling those programs just left more of their program icons now numbered with a (2) at the end. Nothing showed up in the program files, startup, or start folders. Gotomypc tech spport said they have had customers with that problem but they haven't yet figured out a solution. Pocket Mechanic found the hidden icon links and allowed me to delete them. It then found associated errors in my registry and allowed me to fix those errors. More importantly, this was all done with the trial version which is a full 30-day no limits version. Now that's how to sell software. I'm done trying limited feature shareware only to find out the full features don't work after you have paid for it. Pocket Mechanic does it right. And that's why I bought it.

on Dec 3, 2008 - I am running Wizcode Pocket Mechanic Professional 2.98 on my AT&T Tilt (HTC 8925) Windows Mobile device and it works great! Ive been a Windows Mobile O.S. users (a.k.a. Pocket PC a.k.a. Windows CE) for about 10 years and 4 devices. Many mobile applications that Ive come across are unstable, slow, limited in function and lacking in a decent graphical user interface (GUI); however, this product is an exceptional product and pleasant surprise--as I suspect other products produced by Wizcode are likely to be as well. I cant speak highly enough about this product and company: this tool delivers and is definitely worth 30 USD, and their products are evidence that the developer(s) at Wizcode take the Windows Mobile platform seriously enough to produce quality software.

on Apr 17, 2008 - You rarely see this kind of system optimizer/toolkit on desktop PCs let alone a handheld! This program has all the bells and whistles and I?ve notice a great improvement in my T-Mobile Wing since I first ran it. It will even optimize your storage card!! There are other programs out there, but they don?t compete with this one!
