on Jan 11, 2005 - When testing applications running on the device, I find it's really a good tool to view log files or send the files via SendAs to desktop computers to help to analyze what happens on the device or determine which pieces of code executed. It's really a problem locator for debugging applications.

on Dec 30, 2004 - I have been using this tool for several months, and I think its a must have for Symbian developers! It allows you to monitor how much memory your app is using, so you can see leaks, and also gives information on how many threads are running in your process, for keeping an eye on more complex applications and servers. One really neat feature for debugging - you can find the last exception code and reason for the device, and look it up in a panic reference. Great to have in case a tester reports a crash but does not understand the details, or know how important it is to record them with the bug report. On top of that it includes It includes a full feature file browser, and a hex viewer, which are essential tools when debugging and testing!
