FX-602P programmable calculator (S60)
DescriptionFX-602P Simulator is a very precise simulation of the classic CASIO FX-602P programmable calculator and and all it's accessories. This simulation is not a toy but but a full features simulations of almost functionality of the original calculator and it can be used as a full featured and fully programmable scientific calculator. Used as a calculator the FX-602P simulator will exceed most other calculator available for Symbian OS. For example the FX-602P Simulator will calculate the correct result to the well known 1+2×3 test. Which is of course 7 as the multiplication of 2×3 should be done first. But it does not stop there. The FX-602P simulator supports all arithmetic, trigonometric, logarithmic, hyperbolic, statistical functions and all alphanumeric display options of the original calculator. And last not least the FX-602P simulator is fully programmable. You can write up to 10 programs, using 110 registers. With the build in FA-2 cassette interface simulation you can save and load programs and data to your thump drive for later use. Or printout results with the FP-10 thermal printer simulation and then copy / paste them to other applications. Read the original FX-602P documentation (in English / Spanish or French / German) download the Demo or try out online to see what FX-602P Simulator can do. SpecificationBasic FeaturesBasic OperationsArithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, raising to power and root ? all judging the priority of operations) negative umbers, exponent, 33 parentheses at 11 levels and constant operations. Scientific FunctionsTrigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions (with angle in degrees, radians or gradients), hyperbolic and inverse hyperbolic functions, logarithmic and exponential functions. inverse. Factorial, square root, square, decimal ⇔ Huer, Minute, Second conversion, coordinate transformation, absolute value, removing integer part, removing faction part, percentage, random numbers, π. Range of number± 1 × 10-99 to ± 9.999999999 × 1099 and 0, internal operations use 18 digits mantissa. Decimal PointFull decimal floating point arithmetic with underflow (possible display of engineering decimals). Programming FeaturesNumber of Steps999 steps (non-volatile) JumpsUnconditional jump (GOTO), up to 10 pairs, condition jump (x=0, x≥0, x=F, x≥F), count jump (ISZ, DSZ), subroutine (GSP) up to 9 subroutines, up to 9 depths. Number of programs storableUp to 10 (P0 to P9) Checking and Editing FunctionsCheck, debug, deletion addition, etc. Indirect addressingFor M-register, destination of jump, calling subroutines. Miscellaneous functionsManual Jump (GOTO), temporary suspension of execution (PAUSE), command code and step number displayed during check, Simulated FA-2 adaptor for Record and File I/O (please note that the later needs Java security authorisation). Device CompatibilityThe application in written in JavaME (CLDC-1.1, MIDP-2.0) and is designed for an Quarter-VGA or Ninth-HD portrait touch screen display (240×320 or 640× 360 pixel). FX-602P Simulator will run on any mobile device which offers such characteristics. The full download file also contains a general desktop jar for use with MS-Windows and Linux as well as two special Mac OS X versions (desktop application and dashboard widget). OpenSourceLicensed under the under GNU Public Licence Version 3, which gives you a a few extra advantages:
Please note that the demonstration program is also bound by the GPL Licence and can only be passed on when GPL restrictions are observed. History

on May 6, 2009 - Once you switch off the annoying dPad you be rewarded with that new super realistic touch screen design. And it's faster as well. Great improvement over the UIQ version which I used before. Certainly more functions then the any other calculator I have seen of S60. And it's fully programmable as well. You can save and load your programs. Programs can even write to the simulated printer which is pretty neat.
