EverQuest for the Pocket PC -- Episode 1
You're in our world now...on the Pocket PC!

Something is amiss on the outskirts of Freeport. The undead are wandering through the Commonlands and rumors of a powerful necromancer raising an army of skeletons and zombies fill the air. Can you save the city from this looming peril?

Try EverQuest for the Pocket PC! This is a limited demo that allows you to complete the first of a long series of quests. Try out each of the four classes to see which will suit you best in the full version.

The full version includes:
· Access to over fourteen large outdoor and dungeon environments.
· Several dozen characters to interact with.
· Hundreds of monsters to hunt down.
· Upgrade your character with tons of items.
· You can travel to familiar EverQuest locations such as Freeport, Oasis, and Neriak. Dungeons include such locals as Befallen, the Spectral Isles, and the Freeport Tunnels.

Exciting Game with Good Story. Not as easy as you think!

I just purchased Everquest episode 1 and think it''s awesome. Very quick gameplay even on my 400mhz pocket pc. I haven''t tried it on my 624mhz but plan on doing that soon. I would recommend this game to all that enjoy the old school role-play type game. A+++++

A great little RPG for the PPC platform.

An Excellent RPG for the PPC platform. I've seen a few other RPG's for PPC, and this far outshines the rest. Graphics are good, gameplay is decent (although the designers could have made better use of the 'd-pad' instead of relying upon the stylus), the quests are also decent if a bit linear. Overall it is a lot of fun and I'll likely invest in the expansions too. Any limitations on the game are mostly derivative of the limitations of the platform (The PPC itself). Kudos!

After playing this game over the weekend, I have to tell you how bored I am with it. Like a previous reviewer indicated, there is way too much walking around. I am a huge RPG fan and for the price, I should have saved my money. I understand that the limitations are because of the hardware not the software but still...I can get a full blown RPG for my PC or console for just a little more than I paid for this app. Support was non-existent from the company, just the standard forums. Go there and read the players frustrations about the speed of the game. On the plus side, the graphics look sweet on my Dell Axim and the sound rocks with headphones. The company is now hyping the 3rd installment for this game. I think I'll save my money for something else.
