on Dec 26, 2006 - EXTREMELY limited software. Even the maps of cities you are given are very limited. Kansas only comes with three cities, San Diego and Wichita maps are very incomplete as far as area covered, unless you are basically downtown of a major city; for coverage. Its coverage is so limited as to make this product useless. After installing the software, it did not recognize ANY maps and I have to access the maps thru my file explorer. I would give this product 0 stars; but 0 is not a rating option

on Aug 15, 2006 - The maps are great for a home computer or laptop. However, beware if you're planning to use the pocket streets option. For whatever reason, you're not allowed to create map files (*.mps) for your pocket pc any larger than about 100 x 100 miles; even smaller if a larger city is involved. This translates into having to change maps repeatedly if you're touring a state while on vacation. I mean, what's the point if you're storing the maps on a 2GB SD card and have plenty of storage space to store larger maps? The pocket streets portion of the software could use an overhaul. It lacks all of the higher octane features that works with a laptop or home computer.

Good but not quite there yet

on Dec 29, 2005 - I really hope this is a microsoft product that actually gets some improvement. I have over 1 gig of memory on my phone, but i am limmited to very small maps. I cant even get the whole state of louisiana which isn''t really that large. I was forced to make a dozen smaller maps and figure out which is which. I also feel the route planner should be included. A great combo would allow me to make a route from louisiana to washington and send it with the map to my phone. I sould only be limmited by my phone''s memory.
