Flight (PPC)
- by Tom Cooper

Have you ever wanted to fly your own plane? How about your own fleet of planes? Now you can.
The game is set in a vast island chain. Each island has its own flavour from densly populated city islands surrounded by beaches to dangerous uncharted mountainous islands.
Start out with a single low powered biplane and use it to earn money by performing stunts, taking on jobs, trading goods between the islands and exploring the islands to locate bonus rings. The money can then be spent upgrading your plane or buying additional planes with new abilities.

on Dec 12, 2005 - What a game this is! I have searched the interenet many times to try and find a game like this. I have tried all of those leo flight simulators, but the graphics are taking over the game. In this the grapics are stright forward and it's quiet easy to steer and all. Also I think that using jobs and trading has really made this game great.

on Oct 28, 2005 - This little game has the essential basics of flying and is more realistically oriented instead of being ''arcady'' like some other flight sims interms of the physics (in addition to simulation mode, arcade mode is there as an option). Stalls are pretty well designed considering the hardware resources and some simple aerobatics is possible such as the roll, inverted flying, barrel roll, loop, immelman loop, pretty much anything that uses aileron and elevevator control. Other flight simulators dont even let you loop... The stylus input with the ''relative inputs'' where the first place you put the stylus is the center of control makes flying a breeze and exact stylus placement not necessary as is for some other games. The graphics is "cute" to put it that way with simple box planes and buildings. What is very much appreciated is the rolling terrain with textured ground, a very much needed part of a basic simulator which allows the ground to be gauged very easily compared to a solid green, although the water is just solid blue. Overall its an excellent flight simulator if you consider the hardware resources it runs on, (i have a 203mHz H1930) and also great value for the hours of fun it provides.
