Latest changes - Added "Resume session" option that allows to resume an interrupted session. Added a set of dialogs to configure many options including colors, session settings, view settings etc. Auto power off feature. Auto session feature. Automatically start and run in background feature. Auto save feature. Added code to estimate the total battery life and battery time left anytime with only a few sample points without needing to fully charge the device first. Added code to draw the battery life approximation lines. Fixed a few minor bugs. Added 3 reference slots that enable comparing 4 battery curves at once. Added export to CSV file. Added a detailed grid option to display the minutes when the grid length is less than 6 hours. Added autosave feature - the log is now automatically saved to \autosave.blf to prevent loosing data if you accidentaly close the program

Pocket Battery Analyzer is a small program that will run in background and will graphically log the discharge curve of the battery of your PocketPC. You can use Pocket Battery Analyzer to:

-Estimate the battery life as a function of the current settings of your device without having to wait for a complete battery discharge cycle (battery life approximation function)
-Measure and compare the battery wear out by comparing the discharge curve of your device against the discharge curve of a brand new device
-Measure and compare how different device settings (like backlight, CPU speed, volume, WiFi and Bluetooth etc) impact the total battery discharge time and find the best battery performance setting for your device
-Compare the battery discharge time of your device against the battery dischare time of up tp three other device and/or settings
-Export the battery discharge curve to a .CSV file that can be easily imported into Microsoft Excel
-Get an accurate prediction of the total battery life of your device without having to run a full discharge cycle
-Graphically compare the discharge curve with another (reference) discharge curve

on Apr 12, 2006; After a reset the Analyzer can resume the seesion buy tapping "Session" then "Resume", so it doesn't lose the calculations I suppose. I used this to test my battery usage and it was fairly accurate compared to manual timing. Over all Anton did a great job on this.
inaccurate curve whenever soft reset ppc: by rio from hk
on Jul 12, 2004; the s/w is good, but whenever you soft reset ppc, the curve is gone and needs to recalculate from scratch which makes the curve inaccurate. besides, it can't protect itself from being unloaded when user choose close all from other task managers, and it keeps showing up from the bar programs with occupying a program icon space.
