Story

In the year 2051 AD the world was dangerously overcrowded. Hunger, disease and misery gripped the planet. A coalition of poor industrial nations, desperate to save their people, mounted a series of military strikes against the world's economic super-powers. This set off a global conflict. At first the more powerful nations held their own against the third world coalition but through clandestine channels the coalition was able to obtain nuclear weapons. What followed was a short but deadly war. In a few days our once blue planet was transformed into a wasteland, contaminated by radioactivity.
50 years have passed since the big war and the level of radioactivity has dropped throughout much of the world. Some areas still have intense levels of radioactivity however and the few animals and people who survive in these lands have been horribly mutated.
You are one of the changed ones, a mutant. Recently, while camping on the wastelands, a strange man came to your camp. He was mortally wounded and barely alive, and claimed that he had been searching for you. Handing you a NavCom, a rare piece of pre-Nuclear Time technology, he urged you to seek out Taskar in a place called Lost Hope. With his final breath he insisted that you were the only hope for mutants everywhere and that you must find Taskar!

A great RPG for Pocket PC Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a great Pocket PC RPG. It strikes the perfect balance of enough detail to make it a fun RPG, but not so much that it is difficult to play on a PPC. The story is a lot of fun and the interface is unique and effective. In a world where people think all a good RPG needs is first person 3D, Mallocware stands out as creating an RPG that will appeal to true gamers. Great gear, fun story, fun gameplay, and more make this an excellent game.

As fun as Fallout 2 and Wasteland!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This game has all of the great elements of the best post-apocalyptic RPGs ever made (Fallout, Fallout 2, Wasteland). The atmosphere, story, and weapons are all there, and even the story is well-constructed. I am tough to please, but I found myself obsessed with this game for a full two weeks. Well worth the price.
