Great and cheap solution

on Jan 8, 2007 - I got this remote control yesterday and it was so easy to setup that I already have almost all home media appliances ( TVs, VCR, DVD, Home theater ) programmed in my Dell X51v and working just fine. For devices not ready in the codebases list, the learning system is very reliable and easy to use. My only complaint, a minor one, is that I have to create the preferences folder after error messages several times displayed in order to be able to save room preferences, and thatīs not explained anywhere. Best remote I ever tried, saved me from an expensive universal control.

on Jun 6, 2005 - This software is rather standard, i.e. pick your device, try the presets to see which one works on your unit, etc. But the promise of increased range is true in my case. With my Dell X50 I was limited to 12-14 feet with the other software out there. With NoviiRemote I am getting 25-28 feet.
