Update Notes:
1.2: Fixed an issue where uninstalling caused error messages to show up whenever you turn your device on. Also fixed another storage card issue.

1.1: There was a problem with PowerStart running from a storage card. The 1.1 update fixes this. If you still get an error message when resetting your device, remove any device power-on or device reset scheduled commands after you install the 1.1 version of PowerStart and the error will go away.

on Apr 20, 2003; I'm a recent convert from a Clie where I used the application "LookAtMe" to automatically start applications on selected days and at selected times. I used it frequently and quickly found that it was an application that I missed on my new IPAQ. After almost giving up on finding a similar product for the PPC, I stumbled upon PowerStart, which does what LookAtMe did and more. Now I can have meeting agendas in Pocket Word automatically pop up right before a meeting; or I can have Stock Monitor automatically start on weekday mornings; or automatically start my special clock; or clean up all those space consuming temp files; or automatically bring up PocketStreets just before an important trip, or, or, or. Also, the developer (Mark Schmidt) is refreshingly responsive and collaborative, which really adds to the whole experience. I sent a newbie question and some suggestions and he quickly responded with helpful hints and put my suggestions on the "todo" list. To the best of my knowledge, this is the only application of its kind for the PPC - great work, Mark! I highly recommend this application AND the developer.
