Pocket Hotmail
- by Greg Frieger

Pocket Hotmail is an email aggregation program to synchronize your personal webmail from Hotmail account to your PocketPC 2002 Inbox application.
With Pocket Hotmail, you're no longer tied to a desktop PC or laptop for your webmail. Instead, you can enjoy wireless access to your webmail account from your favorite handheld. Messages from your Hotmail inbox are delivered to your handheld inbox, so you're never out of touch, no matter where you are. With instant access to your e-mail, you're always connected.
To use your online time efficiently, you can download messages so you don't have to be connected to your ISP to read it. You can also download message headers only for offline viewing and then mark the headers of the messages you want to read; then the next time you are connected, Pocket Hotmail downloads the message text. You can also compose messages offline and send them the next time you reconnect. You can save time and space on your handheld and download messages faster by choosing to download headers only. For example, you can choose to receive only message headers from last 3 days initially and retrieve the rest of the message later if you want.
Note: Currently program does not support GPRS connectivity in T-Mobile device.

on Jul 24, 2003 - This small application is really cool. It's great how it integrates with the Inbox, not having to run a separate email client is real handy. At such a low price it's a real bargain, I can't understand why Microsoft didn't include this functionality in the first place.

on Mar 22, 2003 - Somthing that you though MS would have included in the Pocket PC's inbox app. Having the ability to get my hotmail through the inbox when it connects via my mobile phone is soooooooooo usefull. No daft configuration, nice simple, straightforward implementation....a bit of software I dont mind spending a whole 5 bucks on :D
