Solitaire Pack Vol. 2 is a collection of ten solitaire games for your Palm Powered™ handheld:
Free Cell - Build each foundation in ascending order and according to suit, and the columns in descending order, alternating by color.Spider - A larger version of Spiderette from our Solitaire Pack Vol. 1.
Montana - Arrange the cards in four rows, by suit, from Two to King.
Ace's High - Remove all the cards except for the Aces.
Forty Thieves - Build all eight foundations in ascending order, based on suit.
Canfield - Build all four foundations in ascending order, based on suit, starting with an initial card and wrapping from King to Ace.
West Cliff - Build the foundations in ascending order, by suit, leaving no cards remaining in the ten columns.
Yukon - Follows the same setup as Klondike, but contains no discard pile.
Thirteens - Discard all of the cards. If the values of two adjacent (or diagonal) cards add up to thirteen, the cards are discarded.
Towers - Build the foundations in ascending order in suit from Ace to King.

Solitaire Pack 2 for Palm OS by Stand Alone, Inc. is hands down the best application on my handheld. This application is entertaining, easy to use and it looks great on a hi-res device. Solitaire Pack 2 is also a great value, containing 11 renditions of this classic one-player game. There is a beginning screen that lists all of the games and includes a graphical layout of each game. It makes selecting the game easy and fun!
When I first downloaded this application, I was not familiar with any of the versions except for Free Cell. The developer has made it incredibly easy to learn the other 10 renditions by including detailed instructions on how to play each game. They not only include the object of the game, but outline the rules for where cards can and cannot be moved as will as any caveats to moving them!
Additionally, the version of Black Jack in this bundle is the best version I have ever played. Unlike other Black Jack games where you play against the dealer over and over, you are playing 5 hands at once against the clock. The cards are dealt to you one at a time and you get to choose whether you want to place them on a new hand or add them to a hand that you have begun. When you are satisfied with all five hands you click "Done" and get your score. This is a great game to play with a friend, as it is very fast paced and you can take turns playing and trying to beat each other's scores.
Stand Alone, Inc. thought of everything when they created this application. The animation is first class, and you can even select whether you want the cards dealt all at once or one at a time. One great feature that this application has is a save option. Specifically, you can be half way through a game of FreeCell, save the game, play Black Jack and then finish the Free Cell game when you have a chance! Stand Alone, Inc. was so detailed in the creation of this game that they included 11 different backgrounds to choose from as well as a "left-handed" option.
If the only application I had on my device was Solitaire Pack 2, I could be entertained for hours!
