Enigma requires you to use all your powers of deductive reasoning to crack the code at the master level in less than 14 turns. Drink too much last night ?, cant think straight at the moment ?, this is not the game for you today!!

The object of the game of Enigma is to discover the hidden sequence of pieces in the shortest number of turns. The game begins with the computer creating a hidden code. Using your powers of deductive reasoning from the clues given to make your next guess. Find the hidden code in the shortest number of turns to enter the high score Hall of Fame.

Enigma has 6 levels of difficulty, from beginner to master to keep you on your toes.

BEST of its type!

I've played many versions of this game, but this one is BY FAR the BEST I've ever played. It's well designed with good use of color, shapes, and background. The animation is fast, smooth, but not excessive or distracting. The method of making & changing choices is simple & intuitive. I've used PPCs since they first came on the market in the 80s and, upon trying ZingMagic's Enigma, it became (and has REMAINED) my favorite "return-to" game; inotherwords, I've installed it on EVERY PPC I've owned since first buying it (that's at least 5, maybe 7, different PPCs it's found a home on - I can't be positive because I can't honestly remember when I first bought Enigma). It's just that type of game that I always find myself returning to, week after week, year after year. It's the type of game that you can play anytime/anywhere you have a few moments to spare! ZingMagic's version of the 'MasterMind' genre game, Enigma, is so well designed that even just walking from the car to the office, you'll find yourself pulling your PPC out and playing a quick one-off! And, if you don't finish it by the time you arrive or if you get interrupted, simply turn your PPC off. Enigma will stay exactly as is until the next time you have the opportunity to play - no need to "save" it, just keep it running in the background since it takes such a tiny amount of RAM. Over the many years I've used electronic organizers (my first had two colors for each pixel... black (on) and white (off), I've owned and played somewhere over a hundred different games (mostly w/thousands of colors) and, each time I get a new organizer (two PPC phones died from drowning... the last in a horrible toilet-diving accident) the first program (after the necessary organizational software) I install is Enigma! If I were forced to come up with SOMETHING to say against Enigma, the ONLY thing I can think of is: After playing it for all these years, it would be nice to see a new background (board) image, and perhaps, the option to switch-out the current palette of shapes & colors with some new shapes & colors... maybe even the option to assign colors from a color-wheel to the play pieces. Although such changes would certainly raise the price of the product, I, for one, would gladly pay to add a little fresh eye-candy to this awesome program. But for those who haven't yet tried it, GRAB IT NOW, just in case they add my suggested changes & raise the price... you'll enjoy it for YEARS before even thinking about additional colors and shapes. If you enjoy brain teasing puzzles, or you're tired of mindless thumb-mashing, or you want a game you can play to a satisfying conclusion w/only minutes of time invested, or you'ld like a game you can turn off with a moment's notice, etc., Enigma is your MUST HAVE gaming solution! Also, over all the years and through all the organizers (Casio, HP, Samsung, etc), I've NEVER had a single problem w/the working of Enigma. It's never bombed, froze, had, or caused any difficulties w/any organizer or any other programs I've used w/any organizer. It's not just the oldest game, but the oldest PROGRAM I own & use. As long as I have a PPC, it'll have Enigma on it.
