In the past I would have had to take my laptop and show them using photoshop. Pocket Artist as give me the speed and freedom to produce proffesional images that enable me to excell in my business. This application is in a class of its own, there is nothing for any pda, that will compare. Thankyou very much

on Jun 12, 2005 - After trying out Pocket Artist 2.0 and liking the program, I decided I would wait until 3.0 came out before I would buy it. I'm glad I waited. Version 3.0 adds Photoshop style layers. This is an awesome feature! I can draw better on my Pocket PC than I can on my computer and with this program, I can really make some nice pictures. This version also adds the ability to program PC buttons to do various shortcuts. For instance, I programmed my direction button as a quick way of undoing and redoing my art. I also have easy access to maximizing and minimizing my screen art by using the up and down button. You can program the buttons to do anything you want and this really is useful for common tasks. I think the menus are intuitive for the amount of screen real estate that a Pocket PC is working with. Overall, I really feel this is a powerful program. Since this program uses a lot of memory, it even asks you when exiting if you want to minimize the program or close it completely. For people who don't own other software programs that close memory-hogging applications, this is a super user-friendly feature. I've never had the program crash on my Toshiba Pocket PC E335--so I think most Pocket PC users should be able to use this software. Now, my one major gripe about this software was the price, [it] is expensive for a Pocket PC program, but I must say this software does a lot of applications. It can take screen shots, which is a valuable application, it can open pictures and edit these images, and it can open most graphic formats. If you're an artist of any sort, this software is excellent. At least tryout the program if you're an artist. You won't be disappointed at all.

on Jun 1, 2004 - I am very pleased with my purchase. My only complaint would be finding a way to hide all the tool bars but still make them easily accessable. Other than that I love this program!
