on Feb 26, 2001 - As you play, the game tracks your response time as well as errors. Based on that information, it offers suggestions and teaches shortcuts. These hints were not taught in school but sure make calculations quicker and more accurate.

The suggestions do indeed help speed-up mental calculation, and the repetitive practice means that the answers spring more quickly to mind in everyday situations. Some of the tips are common sense, but nonetheless help avoid the 'freeze' when working sums out in your head. Definately handy for making constructive use of idle moments or long waits, particularly if your mental arithmetic is not too hot (as in my own case). Well done Bubbling, keep up the good work.
