Mobile Sudoku
- by Icenta, Inc.

Mobile Sudoku is our implementation of a popular Sudoku puzzle for playing on your BlackBerry handheld.
Mobile Sudoku does not limit the number of puzzles that can be solved with it nor does it cost anything additional to use. In addition, we guarantee that the puzzles will have one and only one solution and that that solution will be logically attainable (no guessing required).
Mobile Sudoku is perfect for solving puzzles on the train, in the air, in the commuter car, etc. all with no need for paper or pencil.
A full list of Mobile Sudoku features as of current version (v6.1):
A note on helper functionality: help/hint function will not show a value for just any cell in the grid. It will show the next logically obtainable value only. This is in line with Sudoku rule that one should only use logic to fill in the grid.

on Mar 13, 2009 - It doesn't control backlight time out. It doesn't have bookmarks. Switching between entering pencil marks and numbers is cumbersome. The pencil marks are dots rather than small numbers. The cursor location is difficult to see. Unforntunately, there doesn't appear to be a good Sudoku game for the BB.

on Apr 11, 2008 - I agree with all the positive comments by the last reviewer and it looks like in this version - 6.0 - they've fixed all the shortcomings identified there as well. I, too, think this is the best Sudoku software available out there! As for the instruction screen appearing every time the software starts - it has to start somewhere, so this works just fine for me. Also, I did not time it, but I think I was running the trial version for about an hour before it timed out.I highly recommend this software!
