Symmetry is PC software that works with Microsoft® Outlook on your desktop computer, and your Microsoft Exchange corporate e-mail account to send e-mail, calendar events, meeting reminders, and task lists to your wireless phone, PDA, or pager. Symmetry works with any pagers, PDA, or cellular phone with a valid e-mail address. If your device is capable of sending e-mail messages, you can also reply to e-mails and query your Outlook information.

Whether you're across the hall or across the country, Symmetry keeps you connected to your MS Exchange/Outlook information with any wireless PDA or cell phone with a valid email address.

Easy to Use
Symmetry is extremely easy to use and is designed as "set and forget" software. Most features work directly from your existing Outlook settings which means there is virtually nothing new to learn.

Easy to Install
Our installation "wizard" guides you through the entire set-up process and will have you up and running in minutes. The "wizard" determines your network configuration and creates your personal message forwarding options by asking easy to understand questions.

Once the installation wizard has done its job, Symmetry runs unobtrusively in the Windows Task bar; automatically forwarding your messages to your wireless device while also "listening" for remote commands.

Complete Outlook Integration
Symmetry is more than just e-mail. It also integrates seamlessly with Outlook's other functions including Contacts, Calendar, Appointments and Tasks. Unlike "PIM" based products, no synchronization is required for your information to be completely up-to-date.

Any Device, Any Network
Symmetry works with any wireless device that has a valid e-mail address, including PDAs, pagers and cellular phones.

Screen Saver Option
Symmetry's Screen Saver option recognizes when you're away from your desk and begins forwarding messages to your wireless device the moment your screen saver turns on. It's great for those times when you're caught in a long meeting or are called away unexpectedly from your desk.

Remote Control
Symmetry "listens" for commands sent from your wireless device, allowing you to control Symmetry remotely. This includes turning Symmetry on and off, enabling/disabling automatic features and sending remote queries, such as a request for Contact information, a Calendar summary or even a Task list.

Requirements:
You probably already have everything you need to use Symmetry. All you really need is a desktop computer connected to an Exchange server, and a wireless device with an e-mail address.

Desktop Computer
A desktop computer running Microsoft WindowsTM 98/NT/2000 and Microsoft OutlookTM 98/2000 connected to your corporate Microsoft Exchange mail server.

Connection to MS Exchange Server
Your Outlook must also be connected to a mailbox stored on your corporate Microsoft Exchange™ mail server. You must also be able to send e-mail outside your company, to external internet-based addresses. Symmetry does not currently support mailboxes stored in Personal Folders or POP3 e-mail accounts.

The connection to your Exchange server must be via a Local Area Network. Symmetry does not currently support cable modem or ADSL connections.

Supported Wireless Devices
Symmetry supports any wireless device enabled to receive e-mail. This includes most pagers and PCS cellular phones. If your pager/phone can create and send an e-mail message, you will enjoy access to all the interactive features that Symmetry offers. Never again worry about hunting for a number on your phone, that you know is in your Contacts folder, simply retrieve it on-demand with Symmetry.

Enabling Your Wireless Device
Most wireless devices are capable of receiving e-mail, but do require that an e-mail address be provided by the carrier. If you are uncertain that your device supports text messaging, or are unsure of your device e-mail address, please contact your wireless service provider directly. You may need to request that e-mail be added to your existing package of services.

Excellent Product! Only for Pocket PC & Palm Platforms!

I purchased this package for my Handspring TREO 270... It is fabulous! I recommend it highly... I just purchased a NOKIA 9290 Communicator and called Symmetry's Tech Support and they told me that this package is not compatable with Symbian OS/Epoc. They do not plan to have a Symbian version for a long time (As of 10/8/02)... I'm bummed!!! Good luck to all of you with the TREO's you wont be able to go without it...
