System requirements:

For existing users of Pocket Streets 2004: Before downloading the 2005 version, delete the 2004 version from the following three places: 1) your mobile device (Settings, System, Remove Programs), 2) ActiveSync (Tools, Add/Remove Programs), 3) your PC (Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs).

Personal computer (on which to install Pocket Streets):
Microsoft Windows XP, 2000, ME, or 98 SE
Microsoft ActiveSync® technology (version 3.7 or later for Pocket PC)

Pocket PC device
Microsoft Windows CE 3.0 or later
500 KB available program memory required for installation of Pocket Streets for Pocket PC
Installing map files requires additional memory (approximately 1 MB per city map)
GPS functionality requires a GPS device that supports NMEA 0183 2.0 or later and is configured to use a COM (serial) port

THERE MAY BE NEWER MORE FEATURE LADEN MAP PROGRAMMES BUT STREETS AND TRIPS IS A GREAT LOW COST, ACCURATE, EASY TO USE MAP GENERATOR THAT I USE REGULARLY TO NAVIGATE UP AND DOWN THE EAST COAST FROM CANADA TO FLORIDA AND MOST POINTS IN BETWEEN. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

It is useful in navigating a large city with only a cell phone available

no address or telephone number?

I was looking for something to be like Vindigo on a Windows Mobile Phone. This looked promising at first, but when you find a business, you can't get an address or telephone number. Not very useful. I guess it will be good walking around new york.
