Java Rapid Application Development Environment.

jCompiler is a fully functional R.A.D. width an embedded java compiler, 100% PersonalJava compliant. It generates class-files from java-files. It also includes capabilities to run applications using the J.V.M installed on the device (initial configuration for runtime & classpath is required). Debug features include popup browser for classes & packages, compilation error and warnings with line number and brief description. Both the compiler and the runtime are also capable to import third-party packages.

Menu

• File : allows to create, open, save, copy a java source code.
• Class : allows to compile and run the current java code.
• Debug : allows to hide/show a debug output and print system info.
• Browse : allow to browse thru packages, class and objects declarations.

Browsers notes
The browsers display information for the keyword at the caret position: first select the keyword in the source code panel and then browse it; the class & object search is case sensitive.

Settings

• jvm : executable file for the java-virtual-machine, plus optional parameters; the default jvm is evm.
• classpath : include in here add-on packages; the packages browser will reflect the changes after jCompiler is restarted.

Great product - even greater support!!

It took only two exchanges of email to resolve any difficulties I was having with my XDA. "Hello world" in less than two minutes. It compiled and ran without problems. I'm stayin' tuned for updates!!

A well written fully functional Java compiler. A great tool for learning Java on the move and first class support to go with it.

More than a surprise

When I downloaded this software I still didn't know the difference between JavaScript and Java. I like to try new things and downloaded it as I already had Jeode installed on my iPAQ to run Formulae1. To my surprise it wasn't what I had expected. I later learned from the developer that jscript and java are totally different. This developer provides absolutely brilliant support. He had me up and running in no time. Now I am having a great time learning new things. Great Product. Very kind, Very patient support.
