on Dec 20, 2007 - Right now, the program has serious defects, but it could be very good. The engine plays quite well. However, it always plays the same openings, which is very boring. Also, it always promotes to a queen. In one game I played, I won by promotion to a knight, but the program promoted to a queen and declared stalemate - quite frustrating!
