J2ME version (Symbian Personal Java version available separately)
Tested directly only on Sony Ericsson P800 (and Sun emulators).
CrozzWord should work on any J2ME color device, with ability
to handle 64K .jar file -- let me know of success/failure with other devices and I will update "compatible devices" list.
CrozzWord access puzzles in Across Lite and Crossword Compiler formats;
reads local sample or saved puzzles, or
categories of remote sites over internet; gets next puzzle in file list or date sequence;
saves games; selectively checks or reveals answer; skips to incomplete/incorrect guesses;
view cross-referenced clues;
customizes size, font and color preferences;
includes online help.
After providing your email address during registration,
you will receive a reg code by email to enable additional features such as
live updates of puzzle categories and sites.
