This TRIAL version is FULLY FUNCTIONAL, but only contains a subset of the functionality found in our purchased version

Free Version Features:

• Moving Map(North Up and Track Up)
• Terrain
• Dashboard Screen providing 10 nav fields
• Nearest Screen mapped to a PDA hard key
• Flight Planner with integrated Winds-Aloft calculations
• Popup Menu to save screen space
• Tabbed Interface for quick navigation
• Extra large menus, tabs, button, and labels for easy use in flight
• GPS mode, Simulation mode, and log file playback mode(for demo mode)
• GPS support via Bluetooth, CompactFlash, and serial cable to handheld GPS
• Storage Card support for databases
• Vertical Nav Guidance(required descent rate to airport or runway)

The PURCHASABLE Pro screens are included and can evaluated in file demo and gps simulation modes. They are disabled when connected to a GPS. Features include:

• HSI & Glidescope screen provides both horizontal and vertical guidance
• Approach Screen with moving map, glide scope, and numeric indicators
• Checklists that can be customized by editing the sample checklist
• 4 Timers, visible on the moving map screen
• E6B (CrossWinds, Density Altitude, Weight & Balance)

• Optional detailed terrain (6X the free version)
• Relative terrain warnings (NEW)
• EFIS useful as a backup attitude indicator
• NOAA weather charts and NexRad(requires internet connectivity) (NEW)

IMPORTANT: Not all PDA/GPS combinations work well with our product. Be sure to download the TRIAL version and test with your GPS before purchasing

Regarding Data:

• We only offer a USA database. International versions are on hold.
• The TRIAL version contains a SAMPLE DATABASE ONLY (JUNE '04)
• When purchased, you will receive a activation key that will unlock the premium features and allow you to register at our website (www.copilotsoft.com) to receive data updates.

Nice screen layout, not cluttered and easy to read. Can't wait for the full version with user waypoints. I will buy it as soon as its available.

Good Program - Easy to Use

The Good: 1) Nav info is overlayed on the map around the perimeter, allowing for lots of information to be displayed without sacrificing screen space. 2) Large fonts, tabbed interface, and popup menu bar make it very easy to use during flight The Bad: Response time for the moving map is sluggish at times, but still very usable. Overall: The most "usable" flight program I've tried in a long time. I would definitely recommend it.
