Chronos fills the gap in Windows Mobile operating system by offering
- Unlimited number of highly customizable alarms:
- Alarms can be set to signal only on certain days of the week;
- alarms can be one-time or repetitive;
- alarm can notify you by playing sounds, turning on/off vibration, blinking the LED;
- WAV,OGG and MP3 alarm files are completely supported as sound notification;
- you can select custom sound stored in memory or on the storage card;
- the sound can be played with ascending volume and in loops (i.e. as many times as you need);
- vibration (requires hardware availability of the feature) can be set to work before or with the sound. Pulsation is customizable too.
- Unlimited number of countdown timers. These timers are used to notify you when certain amount of time elapses. Countdown timers can have two time periods (second period starts after first period of time is complete). You can completely customize sound and vibro notifications for the timer (in the same way as for alarm). Settings of each countdown timer can be saved as a template for future use.
- 2 multi-stage timers that let you count time of some action and compare results of two attempts. You can use timer to fix intermediate results (for example when you run 5 laps, you can track time of each lap).
- Skinnable clock with screensaver and hourly sound lets you have better control over your time.

on Apr 9, 2009 - This software exceeded all my expectations. The features and customization seem to be endless. You can create more alarms than you will ever need. The clockface is skinnable. You can assign custom buttons to features. The interface is nice and clean. It works great on my square screen. Has an hourly chime. You can setup vibration options. Has great help files. I've emailed support with questions, and the support is fast and excellent. I don't think you will find better software.

on Apr 8, 2009 - I am really happy with this software. It has everything that I need, alamrs, timers, and a stopwatch. This product even has some great support! I d/l'ed the product to try it out and had some issues I wanted to discuss with the developers. I received a quick response and they addressed the issues fast and efficiently. Not something regularly found these days. I have a Treo 800w and it works great on it, square screen and all. The layout is nice, the features are rich, there are even some nice help files. I'm impressed and that is not easily done.

on Dec 9, 2008 - I'm giving this product full points because unlike the 8 or so other alarm clock programs, this one actually works. It's got lots of useful features. Price is a little steep but it seems to be the only alarm program out there that works with my HTC Touch.
