on Mar 18, 2007 - Some software you just have to love. Battery Pac pro has some really neat features that make it my favorite program for the WM2005 operating system. It is very handy to have at a glance your battery power and memory usage right on the today screen. The program has two other neat features--the calendar bar shrinks your appointments to only the first, and then you display the others by tapping an arrow. Another icon brings up the entire month to simplify viewing your future appointments or making a new one. The search bar contains links to the white pages, reverse telephone number identification, Google search, maps--it is so much faster than opening Internet Explorer. This program is also very stable and hasn't caused any conflicts with any of the other software I use or the programs preloaded on the Imate JasJar. I use other products from Omega One that can be obtained on a trial basis when Battery Pac is installed. I find them universally well-designed with features that markedly improve the interface and functionality of my PDA. I also appreciate the support staff. They are real people who actually write personal e-omails, rather than sending you some pre-constructed modules of text that don't really answer your question.

on Aug 29, 2006 - Given that I installed BPP on a JasJar which is a relatively newly released device, the solid functionality and minimal shortcommings were gratifying. The key-map feature was a little limited by the WM5 insistence on controlling how the special keys like camera and voice would operate, and the placement of some on-screen controls clashes with where WM5 has it's systray, but despite that, there is enough excellent functionallity to make this a very worthwhile purchase.
