Worked Right the First Time

on Nov 5, 2009 - Tried to use AT&T to tether my BB 9000, after an hour on the phone with tech support (reload software - standard response), I gave up, downloaded Tetherberry and literally was up and running from my hotel in Tucson in minutes. Can't wait to use Tetherberry in Australia, India, Africa and Korea - all places where getting anything other than a dial up is difficult. Don't usually recommend software, but in the last week have already convinced two people to get on line and try it.

on Nov 4, 2009 - I don't have internet access at home. I didn't want to pay extra to Verizon to upgrade my data plan and pay the tethering fee for so-so speeds. I also looked at options for DSL, satellite and cable internet access but they were at least $50 a month or more! TetherBerry is the answer to my internet-access problem. It was a breeze to install on both my laptop and my Tour. I connected my BlackBerry to my laptop and voila! Fast internet access! If you have a blackberry and are tired of paying for monthly internet access at home or for a card, then get this app. If you pay $50 a month for internet access this app will pay for itself in 30 days time. I cannot wait to get home and try it out there but so far so TREMENDOUS!
