Best Sudoku for Palm

I have been playing this for years. It is by far the best sudoku game out there. I wish they had a desktop version!

Fond of software but not the support

Well, I loved it at first but after you play the game packs, and they are done with, you're left with nothing. The software is great. Other game packs are very limited in its use. For instance, it doesn't allow you to pencil in certain numbers. So it basically tells you what the possible numbers are. Here you are free to make errors of your own. I think it's better that way. It's almost solving for you if the options are few. You can enter a new puzzle and it'll check it for you. And it's much easier to use and compared to other games, the battery life is great. Unfortuantely, Astraware doesn't really update the gamepacks. The create module really doesn't generate the puzzle very well. It is supposed to generate a new game by itself. It takes a long time to generate anything remotely difficult to solve. It takes longer to create a puzzle than to solve it!

A great way to play Sudoku - the only way!

It does all the things that Astraware says it does. Far better than playing Sudoku with a pencil and paper and it's the best of the bunch that I tried out. Have bought two copies for both members of our household. However, on both of our Palms (Tungsten T3) there is a flash to a black screen, then back to white, when exiting the program. Repeated attempts to get an answer from Astraware have proved unsuccessful. Too bad - great program, lousy support.

This game is so excellent that you will waste time every time you start up by playing the one extra game. The interface takes away all the boring work and you are left with the challenging part. I believe that the overlay function is so, so super - havent seen it in other versions of the game. This game has 3 levels of assistance and you can load daily puzzles on every level. Well done Astraware. I first bought the Palm version and now I bought the Pocket PC version. I did not even consider any other package.

Great fun!

Great addition to my PDA game collection. The interface is very intuitive, and the game is easy to customize to the way I play. The automatic pencil mark feature is wonderful, and I love the ability to enter games from the newspaper and solve them on the PDA.

THE BEST SUDOKU.

I was unsure at first of the merits of playing Sudoku on a PDA.But now am hooked.Much better than using pen and paper as the neatness of the pencil marks and being able to undo previous entries is fantastic.With a complete range of skill levels and free additional puzzle packs.Also you are able to autosolve any puzzle with amazing speed(I have tested it on puzzles rated extremly difficult).Well done Astraware.

the best sudoku game I have tried

I have tried most of the plam sudoku games and this is the best. It has the best method for inputting pencil marks and has nice animations when a row, column or square is filled. Also a good hints sytem that gently prods you in the right direction.

I have tried all of the Sudoku programs out there and this is the best! It gives great flexibility for levels of hints, automatic pencil marks, easy interface, and free puzzle packs. The game has the quality you''ve come to expect from Astraware. I''d like to see more in-game help for the game functionality, but that is a minor complaint in a great design.
