Why didn't I earn Rewards points on all the purchases shown in my Recent Purchases?

Points can only be earned on software purchases (boxed or downloadable) bought through participating merchants. Other products, including hardware and accessories, do not qualify for points (although the purchases may still show up in your Purchase History).

Purchases on other Web sites, even if powered by PocketGear, do not qualify for points (although the purchases may still show up in your Purchase History).

I entered an email other than my regular email during my last purchase and I want that purchase to show up in my account. Am I able to do that?

No. Points will only be assigned to the email and password entered during checkout and points cannot be combined or transferred between two accounts. Be sure you enter your correct email address at purchase or your points will be split among multiple accounts. We encourage you to create and maintain only one account and use the same email for all purchases. If your email address changes, you have the ability to change the email address associated with your account through your My Profile page.

How do I redeem my points for rewards?

Log in to your account. Click on the Redeem Rewards tab. Follow the instructions on that page.

I just created my account but have bought software before. Can I get points for purchases that took place before I created my account?

No. Like most frequent buyer programs, points cannot be earned retroactively for purchases made prior to creating an account.

Rules & Regulations
  • You must be logged in to your Member Account to receive Reward Points.
  • You must create and maintain a Member Account, using your email address and a password, to redeem Reward Points. Anyone is eligible for Reward Points, but only those who have created a Member Account can access their points and redeem Rewards.
  • Reward Points cannot be applied retroactively to purchases made before the account was created.
  • Reward Points can only be earned on purchases of mobile downloads. Other products, including hardware and accessories, do not qualify for Reward Points. Purchases on other Web sites powered by PocketGear, but where Member Accounts are not available, do not qualify for points (although they may still show up in your Purchase History).
  • For every eligible dollar you spend, after any discounts and before tax and/or shipping, you will earn 10 points. After a purchase is made and points are earned, they will be shown as "pending points" that cannot be redeemed yet. Reward Points will be "pending" for 30 days from purchase to allow for software returns.
  • Enrollment and purchases are tracked by email address. Reward Points can only be assigned to the email and password entered during checkout and points cannot be combined or transferred between two accounts. Be sure you enter your correct email address at purchase!
  • Reward Points shown in your Member Account are the official point total.
  • Users must redeem their rewards through their account page. Log in, and click on the Rewards link.
  • Returned and/or refunded purchases will be deducted from your Reward Points. When a reward is redeemed, the points associated with that reward will be subtracted from the total points.
  • This program is intended to reward individual customers. Corporate purchases and companies are not allowed to redeem Reward Points.
  • All Members will receive occasional emails regarding their Account status. These emails are used to notify you when you've qualified for a Reward level. You can also subscribe to additional emails to receive exclusive specials made available only to Members.
  • Handango (a trade name of PocketGear, Inc.) will make reasonable efforts to count all qualifying purchases towards the program, but we are not responsible for any technical errors that may occur.
  • Handango (a trade name of PocketGear, Inc.) reserves the right to modify or cancel Member Accounts at any time for any reason. Any un-redeemed Rewards will be forfeited.
